Kim Vogel Sawyer's Song of My Heart (Bethany House Publishers, 2012) is a historical romance with plenty of suspense thrown into the mix. Set in 1895 Kansas (a "dry" state, at the time), the story is equal parts chasing bootleggers and chasing peace of mind. I really enjoyed Sawyer's depth of setting and character development. Song of My Heart is an entertaining, uplifting read.
